By what means
Christ makes
one righteous
and saved
Whereby we must also consider as the fourth point by what means Christ did such things, namely, by this: that He paid and satisfied the law and the will of God for our sake. Matthew 5. Matthew 3. Matthew 17. Romans 8. Galatians 4. And that He suffered and died for us, for our sins and transgressions, was buried, and descended into Hell, thereby bearing and blotting out our sins.
