We saw him, but he had no form that would have pleased us, wherefore many are offended by him. But he has very beautiful, precious garments and great wealth hidden under his black-gray smock. Under his dirty coat jacket is a beautiful green velvet jacket, and under that a beautiful white shirt, decorated with flowers of all kinds of beautiful colors. For this white shirt of his and the purple gold piece are the two beautiful flowers on one stem of the white lilies, from which the red one grows.
