The First Step to Conversion

the devils have also wrought sins) shall come before his eyes / and curse him / and the same before the eyes of Christ / and also before all the holy Angels and men: and how he shall stand there in great shame and mockery / furthermore in heavy terror and eternal despair: and how it shall eternally repent him / that he has squandered such a great eternal blessedness for the sake of such short-lived lust / and did not take better care of himself / so that he might also be among the communion of the saints / and enjoy the eternal light and power of God.

6. Sixthly / he shall contemplate / how the godless loses his noble image (just as God created him in His image) / and becomes a deformed monster (like a hellish worm / or a gruesome animal) / where he is then an enemy of God / against Heaven / and all holy angels and men: and how his communion is eternally in the gruesome darkness among the Devils and hellish worms.
