An engraved armorial bookplate features the royal coat of arms of the Kingdom of Bavaria. The central shield is quartered and contains the characteristic Bavarian lozenges (fusils) and various lions rampant. The shield is supported by two lions and is surmounted by a royal crown. The entire achievement is draped within an ermine-lined mantle topped with a larger crown. Below the shield is a decorative base featuring the collar of an order. The entire plate is enclosed within a rectangular double-line border.
