A singular book.
The printer's mark of the Elzevir family. It depicts an eagle perched atop a pedestal or altar, holding a bundle of seven arrows in its talons. The pedestal is flanked by palm branches. A scroll loops around the image with the Latin motto: CONCORDIA RES PARVÆ CRESCVNT Small things grow through harmony.
