Let us join Liberty as a companion to Peace. For us, both are the supreme and only cause of tranquility, of fruitfulness, and of all happiness.

We owe it to Peace that we are able to use our goods safely and quietly. Liberty makes it possible to use them in such a way that we are certain not only of the present situation, but also of the future, according to the Laws.
