Could we not list Socrates, Epaminondas, Xenophon, and Pericles; could we not list among the Princes of the Romans, the Julii, the Octaviani, the Antonini, the Augusti; could we not list the Scipios, the Luculli, the Fabii, the Marcelli, the Laelii?
