The ossa malae cheekbones are prominent on the sides, to which four molar teeth are fixed. The ossa intermaxillaria intermaxillary bones are not expressed, but are so grown together with the maxillary bones and the nasal bones that it is impossible to demonstrate where they begin.

Just as the head is distinguished by its smoothness and the lack of processes and prominences, the trunk and extremities are distinguished by their multitude. First, the processus spinosus epistrophei spinous process of the axis vertebra occurs, to which the suspensory ligament of the neck is inserted; it is not extraordinary in the mole, since the strength of its muscles is increased by the interscapular ligament from which it arises.
