A hand-colored 17th-century map of Scania (Skåne), a province in southern Sweden. The map is decorated with three cartouches: a scale cartouche with cherubs, a title cartouche surrounded by figures and livestock, and a dedication cartouche with a coat of arms. The Baltic and Codan seas are populated with sailing vessels. The land is divided into administrative "hundreds."
