dedicated, 7 days before the Ides of August 1595, to Philippe

The 2nd edition, August 1596, containing
the "Appendix of Annotations on Suetonius" original: "Animadversionum in Suetonium Appendicula", with a
new dedication (the only one
which is reprinted in this volume).
