Book on Clothing. Suetonius, in his book On the Type of Garments, says that there are three types of trabeae a toga with purple stripes. One, sacred to the gods, which is entirely of purple. Another, of kings, which is purple but contains some white. A third, augural, of purple and scarlet.
Book on various matters. Suetonius Tranquillus, in his book On Various Matters, says: There are thirty-eight prepositions in total, a number which certainly agrees among all critical grammarians.
