that she is deemed worthy of even greater and more illustrious things day by day, by this our irrefragable sanction we establish, decree, and ordain that the Feast of the Presentation of this kind, just like the Feast of the Conception of the aforementioned blessed Virgin, be solemnly celebrated by all Christians throughout our cities and dioceses on the said day every year for all future time in perpetuity, with the proper history of the same Feast of the Presentation; and where a proper history is not held for it, then the history of the Nativity of the same most glorious and immaculate Virgin shall be received, in such a way that where the Nativity is contained, the Presentation may be inserted. And furthermore, so that we may stir the Christians to greater devotion and more frequent veneration of said exalted Mother of God—who, rising like the dawn, fair as the moon, chosen as the sun, terrible as an army set in array, brought forth—with the Holy Spirit cooperating—the true sun of justice, our Redeemer Jesus Christ, who illuminates the hidden things of darkness in the world of dark power—she who was never seen to have a first like her nor one to follow her, in fitting ways,
