and confessed, who on the aforementioned day shall attend divine services in individual churches, monasteries, and other ecclesiastical places located within the said divine jurisdiction, in which the office of the same Virgin happens to be celebrated; or who shall fast annually on the vigil of the same Feast, we mercifully release in the Lord one hundred days from the penances enjoined upon them, to endure for all time. We will, however, that if any other indulgence, either in perpetuity or for a certain time not yet elapsed, has been granted by us to those fasting on vigils or attending such divine services, the present letters shall be of no force or weight. Given at Rome at Saint Peter’s, in the year of the Lord’s Incarnation one thousand four hundred and sixty-four, on the twelfth day before the Kalends of February January 21st, in the first year of our Pontificate. And in the third book of diverse Forms, in the first year of our Lord, Pope Paul II, folio 57, and it is expedited through the chancery.
