How many accidents does a pronoun have? Six, namely: quality, gender, number, figure, person, case.
Therefore, as a sinner, of what quality is this pronoun? Infinite, because of the infinite and uncertain multitude of offenses I commit, which I am not able to count. Of what gender? Common, because I participate in the whole gender of vices by sinning, namely, mortal and venial. Of what number? Singular, because my sins singularly torment my soul and slaughter my conscience.
