Let us therefore give honor to our Potter a metaphor for God, the Creator by fulfilling his will.
What is a conjunction? The answer is: the consideration or knowledge of the future judgment. How many things accrue to a conjunction? Three: namely power, figure, and order. To what divine power? Because God will perform the judgment and, first, he will join: that is, through the angelic trumpet, he will gather everyone to judgment. Second, he will disjoin: that is, he will separate the good from the bad. Third, he will fulfill: that is, he will complete the number of the elect and will recover that city which was broken through the fall of Lucifer and his associates. Fourth, he will cause: that is, he will cause [judgment] for the reprobate, saying, "Go, you cursed, into eternal fire, for I was hungry and you did not give me to eat. I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink. I was a stranger and you did not take me in. I was naked and you did not clothe me." And he will give rightful reasons for the elect, saying, "Come, you blessed of my Father, receive the kingdom which has been prepared for you from the origin of the world. I was hungry, I was thirsty, I was a stranger, I was sick and naked, and you fed me, you gave me drink,
