Matthew 8
When Jesus had descended from the mountain, etc. In which two miracles are narrated. One concerning the healing of the leper, the other concerning the servant of the centurion. Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed:
¶ Regarding the first, it is asked: Whether it was fitting that Christ should heal the leper by touching him. Second: Whether it is true that the leper, after he was healed, was ordered to go to the priest to signify that he who is cleansed from the leprosy of sin through contrition is bound to show himself to the priest through confession. Third, it is asked: Whether admiration can fall upon Christ. Fourth: Whether it was true that such great faith was not found in Israel as in the centurion.
¶ ### On the 4th Sunday is the Gospel: At that time, Jesus ascending into the boat, etc. Matthew 8
Regarding this, the following questions come to be disputed:
¶ First: Whether the universal Church, designated by the boat according to the gloss, will sometimes be so shaken by the tempest of some tribulation that it suffers shipwreck. Second: Whether it was true that the sea and winds obey Christ.
¶ ### On the fourth Sunday after the octave of the Epiphany is the Gospel: At that time, Jesus spoke this parable: The kingdom of heaven is made like to a man, etc. Matthew 13
Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed: First: Whether the devil over-sowed cockle, that is, heresies, in the Lord's field.
¶ Second: Whether heretics are to be eradicated from the present life through death.
¶ ### On the 70th Sunday is the Gospel: At that time, Jesus spoke this parable, etc. Matthew 20
Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed: First: Whether all men are called by God to eternal beatitude. Second: Whether some works are required for man to obtain beatitude from God. Third: Whether there is one reward of remuneration for all laborers in the Lord's vineyard.

¶ ### On the Sunday of Sexagesima is the Gospel: At that time, When a great crowd, etc. Luke 8
Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed: First: Whether Christ fittingly used parables in his preaching.
¶ Second: Whether those parables of Christ contain truth according to the literal sense.
¶ ### On the Sunday of Quinquagesima is the Gospel: Jesus took the twelve disciples, etc. Luke 18
In which he predicted his passion to his disciples: Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed: First: Whether it was necessary for Christ to suffer for the liberation of the human race. Second: Whether he fittingly chose to suffer in Jerusalem. Third: Whether it was fitting that he should also suffer at the hands of the Gentiles.
¶ ### On the first Sunday in Lent is the Gospel: At that time, Jesus was led into the desert by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil. Matthew 4
And since in this Gospel mention is made of two things, the fast and the temptation of Christ, these questions can be disputed:
¶ First: Whether all are bound to the fast of Lent. Second: Whether the fast of Lent is observed at the due time. Third is: Whether it was fitting that Christ be tempted by the devil.
¶ ### On the second Sunday of Lent that Gospel is read: At that time, Jesus took Peter and John, etc. Matthew 17
Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed:
¶ First: Whether it was fitting for Christ to be transfigured. Second: Whether the witnesses of the transfiguration, Moses, Elijah, Peter, James, and John, were fittingly found there. Third: Whether Peter erred saying, It is good for us to be here, and asking for three tabernacles to be made: one for Christ, one for Elijah, and one for Moses.
