¶ On the fourth Sunday is the Gospel: Jesus went across the sea which is of Tiberias, etc. John 6. Regarding this, these can be disputed: First: Whether Christ fittingly satisfied five thousand men with five loaves that were found with someone in the company.
¶ Second: Whether Christ fittingly satisfied five thousand men with five barley loaves and not from wheat. Third: Whether Christ was a true prophet, as is said in the Gospel.
¶ On Passion Sunday is the Gospel: At that time, Jesus was saying to the crowds of the Jews, etc. John 8. Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed: First is: Whether Christ could be reproved of any sin. Second is: Whether Christ ought to have preached to the Jews without offense. Third is: Whether it is true that Abraham saw the day of Christ.
¶ On Palm Sunday is read the passion of Christ according to Matthew 26. Regarding which, these can be disputed: First: Whether another possible and more fitting mode of liberation of the human race existed than through the passion of Christ. Second: Whether Christ fittingly wished on such a day to enter Jerusalem with royal honor.
¶ On Monday is read the Gospel: Six days before, etc. John 12. Regarding this,
these can be disputed: First: Whether it was fitting that Christ should permit an ointment of such great price to be poured over his head.
¶ Second: Whether Christ fittingly permitted the money-box to be carried with him. Third: Whether he fittingly entrusted the money-box to Judas while he was carrying it.
¶ On Tuesday is read the Passion according to Mark 14. Regarding which passion, six questions can be disputed:
¶ First: Whether Peter sinned mortally by denying Christ.
¶ Second: Whether after Christ predicted that Peter would deny him, it was possible for Peter not to deny Christ.
¶ Third: Whether all the apostles, fleeing when Christ was captured, sinned mortally.
¶ On Wednesday is read the Passion according to Luke 22. Regarding which, the following questions can be disputed:
¶ First: Whether Judas, by selling Christ, committed simony. Second: Whether the sin of those crucifying Christ was the gravest. Third: Whether the human will in Christ wished for something other than what the divine will wished.
¶ On Thursday, the day of the Supper, is the Gospel: Before the festival day of the Passover, etc. John 13. Regarding this, the following questions can be disputed: First: Whether it was fittingly instituted on the day of the Supper, the sacrament of the Eucharist.
¶ Second: Whether Christ fittingly gave the sacrament of his body and blood on the day of the Supper to Judas the traitor. Third: Whether after the morsel dipped by Christ and offered to Judas, the devil entered into him.
¶ On Friday, in which mention is made of the death of Christ, is read the Passion according to John 18. Regarding which, the following questions can be disputed: First: Whether it was fitting for Christ to die. Second: Whether any other passion of Christ would have sufficed
