began to bear the reproaches of Christ, which image the Apostle proposes to us in Moses, we ought not to be so soft that we are not willingly made like Him who, when He had emptied Himself for us, rose again in glory, so that He might show us in Himself that whatever we suffer for the testimony of His Gospel will be for us a source of joy, happiness, and triumph.

Therefore, according to that admonition, we will not doubtfully nor unwillingly be rejected from the company of men together with our Teacher, provided we are approved by Him who alone is a competent judge. Thus far, by the grace of God, we have learned by experience how much better it is
