Most of all, we do not doubt that this work of ours, which we have spent on translating, correcting, describing, and explaining the present little book, will be most useful to the youth of your school: as well as to other young men for whom the knowledge of the Greek language, piety, and the study of virtue are a concern from the heart; for they will obtain both from it not unsuccessfully. Farewell, most prudent lords: and take this friendly expression of our will toward you, your teachers, acquaintances, and old friends, and the youth now learning in your school, in good part.
