because they bear the name of such great men upon their foreheads, and because they are propagated by such a Hero. What I think we should do against this most wicked attempt of the Pope, I have written at the end of the annotations, which is why I do not repeat it here. But I call God to witness that I am very anxious about by what path or by what means I might (according to my meager ability) be of benefit especially to your Churches, which I pray one and all to commend me to our heavenly Father with their constant prayers.
