some of the errors which I had pointed out, but having added in the meantime some others that were no less deformed than the previous ones had been. Why say more? They also published a fourth at Venice in that same year 1554, which, when I had seen it stuffed with certain new ineptitudes and follies, and almost madness, I thought this one also should be met with my writing, no longer in Italian, but in Latin. Finally, in this very year, 1559, they fabricated a fifth at Rome. See the shameless and blasphemous diligence of the enemies of Christ; they leave nothing undone in their zeal, they leave nothing unattempted, nothing undared, by which they might ruin heavenly doctrine and yet establish their own. In this latest Catalog, therefore, which I have mentioned, they have included all the others previously enumerated, as well as those of the Sorbonne and Louvain, surely following that ancient practice of miraculously submerging themselves again into other errors, much graver and more rotten, after some of the errors pointed out by me had been corrected, so that this latest one is more ridiculous and more blasphemous than all the others, which I hope I shall easily demonstrate.
