If indeed you, most excellent Prince, weigh everything that the best and greatest God has subjected to your authority—as becomes an excellent Prince—with the most just scales, and dispense it with an infallible measure. Therefore, may your Holiness not disdain to accept the little gift of your devoted suppliant, so that, relying on your serene countenance, I may dare to conceive of greater things, and under your most holy name and safest shield, bring them into the light. For whom I shall not cease to pray as a suppliant for every happiness from God the Best and Greatest.
