WRITTEN FOR THE SECOND
MARRIAGE OF THE MOST LEARNED MAN, AND MOST
adorned Jurist, Dr. SAMUEL GRYNAEUS: and his most ample Bride ANNA, descended from the celebrated and ample family of the Rudins:
In which honor is paid, and what is owed to Virtue is mentioned, with inserted praises of the most learned men who attended the wedding.
At the end, there is added a sweet and marvelous story about the FATHER of the Bridegroom, SIMON GRYNAEUS, a man by far the most celebrated: which happened at the Diet of Speyer, held in the year 1531: of whom Philipp Melanchthon also speaks honorably in his Commentary on Daniel.
Item: a brief and useful rule concerning the duty and economy of pious Spouses.
Printed in Basel on the 10th day before the Kalends of October: on which day the wedding was celebrated: in the year of God made manifest in the flesh, 1578.
