The proposition itself: the order and sum of the following wedding: therefore one must rejoice, alluding to that in Matt. 9. Can the children of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? meaning: Not at all.

For the bright LIGHT has risen today with a fortunate dawn:
In which the sweet Friend comes into your chamber.
Behold, a new Bride is given to you: a new Wife is led:
The bride must be received by you with a soft hand,

Offer your Heart with strength, and your joy to her.

You also rejoice, men: You applaud, Mothers:

Let idle mourning be absent: and let care be sent far away.

Alluding to that in Rom. 12. Rejoice with those who rejoice.

Joyful things are fitting: because a joyful day has shone with friendly
Light: GO AWAY evil: only joyful things are fitting.
Feed on the sweet feasts of autumn, the new fruits, the birds:
Which the Bridegroom and the cultured Bride will give.

The introduction and the present time are considered.

And now taste the fresh wine: lift up the new wines:
The servant hand will crown the full cups.
Let each one say to his Neighbor: I toast this sweet
Nectar: and often turn the goblets in number.
And do not only taste: but seek the dry bottom:
If it pleases: and empty the turned-up cups.
