It is enough and more than enough that we know from the words of Christ that the true body of Christ is given to us whenever the consecrated bread is given to us according to the institution of Christ: and that the true blood of Christ is given to us whenever the consecrated wine is given to us, and we believe the words of Christ, whom we know to be omnipotent and truthful, and substantially—not only by his divinity, but also by his body and blood—to be present in a peculiar way in the Supper, and to exhibit the true body and true blood to all who eat bread and wine in the Church, tō onti truly, atrekōs unfeignedly/accurately, ou tropikōs not figuratively.

And we ourselves, with a certain plērophoria full assurance of soul, because of the words of Christ, defend that in the Lord’s Supper, to each and every believer who eats the Bread and Wine of the Supper, there is given by Christ tō onti truly, atrekōs unfeignedly, ou tropikōs not figuratively, his very own flesh and his very own blood; both because Christ is omnipotent and because he is truthful.
