is treated in chapter 4 from verse 13 to the end.
The seventh is concerning the duties of the rich and the poor, who also ought to adorn their profession in both fortunes. In the rich, he requires liberality: taxing confidence, tenacity, and fraud. In the poor, however, he demands patience after the example of the Prophets and Job; likewise, that they do not murmur either against God or against the more tenacious rich. The rest pertains again to all orders, such as that one should not swear, that one should diligently pray, and that confessions of sins should be joined to prayer. Finally, it must be incumbent upon everyone that those who wander are led back into the way, all of which, if we perform them, we shall certainly adorn the profession of faith most elegantly.
