From these we see what the sum of the Gospel, or that joyful message which God had promised in the Scriptures, truly is: namely, that all the sins of the elect were laid upon Jesus Christ (who is the Son of the eternal Father, and according to the flesh, of the seed of David). Isaiah 53. By dying, he made satisfaction for them: by rising, he brought justice and life into the light, so that not even one sin of all the elect or believers remained. He also seals that promise of gratuitous justice on our hearts with the Holy Spirit, through whom he restores the elect to his own image, and from there that same Jesus is expected, who delivers us from that coming wrath. Here you see that the Gospel is nothing other than what is comprised in the articles of faith. Conversely, another Gospel is one contrary to the articles of faith, about which Christ warned us so that we might beware. Matthew 24.
