and singular our subjects and faithful beloved of the Holy Roman Empire, our Kingdoms and hereditary Provinces, of whatever dignity, grade, order, and condition they may be, that they allow you, the aforementioned Rodolph Salis de Salis, Free Baron, and your sons, heirs, and legitimate descendants of either sex descending and to descend from you in perpetuity, or in the aforementioned case he who shall have been named by you in the aforementioned manner from the same Salis family, and his sons, heirs, and legitimate descendants, to remain in the said state, order, and dignity of Free Baron, and to use, enjoy, possess, and exercise the said arms and Insignia thus adorned and enriched by us as is set forth above, and also all and singular the aforementioned privileges, indulgences, immunities, liberties, rights, customs, honors, dignities, prerogatives, exemptions, graces, and favors granted to you in this our Diploma, wherever and whenever, freely, quietly, and without any impediment; and that they defend, preserve, and maintain you in all and singular these things, and prohibit and impede others from attempting or plotting anything to the contrary, in so far as they wish to avoid our most grave indignation and the penalty of one hundred marks of pure gold, to be paid irremissibly, one half to our Treasury, and the remaining part to you, the often-mentioned Rodolph Salis de Salis, Free Baron, or to your sons, heirs, and descendants, or otherwise as often as it shall have been done against this our page of Creation, concession, liberty, adornment, enrichment, and grace.
