If you spot an error, have a suggestion, or just want to say hello — we’d love to hear from you.

it becomes a consolation to us, that of Paul: Likewise also the Spirit helps our infirmities. For what we should pray for as we ought, we do not know: but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. Rom. 8:26. For God looks upon the religious movements and vows of the heart of the faithful, though they be anxious, as is seen in the history of Moses, to whom, standing at the Red Sea and diaulio chomor-morizonti muttering through the pipe/groaning in the narrow passage, Jehovah replied: Why do you cry out to me? Speak to the children of Israel that they may proceed. Exod. 14:15.
If the afflicted do this, they will say with David: I will hear what the Lord Jehovah speaks, surely he will speak Peace to his people, and to his beneficiaries, so that they may not return to folly. Surely his Salvation is near to those who fear him. Psalm 85:8-9.
XXII. Antilogia Contradiction/Discourse against.
How one must contradict Satan when he spreads lies, we will indicate hos en typo as in a model.
1. SATHAN roars horribly, that you are a man rejected and condemned.
You, however, answer: There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Rom. 8:1.
2. He replies: You, however, are not in Christ Jesus. For you do not walk according to the Spirit, but according to the Flesh.
Response: Truly therefore, I myself indeed serve the Law of God with my mind, but with my flesh the law of sin. Rom. 7:25.
3. The instance of SATAN: If you served the Law of God with your mind, then truly you would excel in faith, hope, and love. But you are destitute of all these.
Response: I indeed believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that those who believe have life through his name. John 20:31. And I know that in Christ Jesus neither Circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision: but faith which works through love. Gal. 5:6. I also rejoice that I have been elected by God, and I conclude this anantirrhetos irrefutably from efficacious faith, and laborious love, and tolerant hope. 1 Thess. 1:3-4.
4. The instance of SATAN: It would be impudent and rash boasting to boast of eternal election without a witness and without a pledge.
