let us honor them because they are indicated more frequently during the times of Lent, because at this most important time, for those fighting, one must stand in the Stationes Stations, because their antiquity has been restored, and the occasion for every difficulty in visiting them has been removed; but most of all, because we behold our Leader, Pontiff, Prince, Shepherd, Father, and Lord going before us; to cling to whose sacred footsteps, to follow whom, and to imitate whom with all our strength, is our highest glory and highest honor.
