XII.
It is added that it is in the husband's ownership for the sake of the fruits of the dowry, which concern the husband immediately.

I will say more briefly that the species or types of dowries are: profectitia dowry given by the father, which a father constitutes; and adventitia dowry given by an outsider, which any outsider constitutes.

For all are obligated by promising dowries, of whatever sex or condition they may be.
