The printer's mark of the Clarendon Press, Oxford. It features a central shield containing an open book with the Latin motto "DOM MINA INUS TIO ILLU MEA" (Dominus Illuminatio Mea). The shield is enclosed within a decorative trefoil frame. The word "OXFORD" appears in the top segment, "CLARENDON" in the left segment, and "PRESS" in the right segment.
The Latin motto on the shield, "Dominus Illuminatio Mea," translates to "The Lord is my light."
