Our study will comprise two parts: the first will treat the question of the origin of the Albigensians; the second will show the action of the Church through its legates and missionaries during the 12th century and the first years of the 13th. It will be followed by a series of other studies that we will publish under these titles:

The Albigensians and the Inquisition;
The Albigensians and the Templars;
The Albigensians and the Reformers of the 16th century.
