The order of the Sophisians admits both sexes. The titles of the officers and officers referring to both male and female officers of this androgynous society are drawn from the Egyptian mysteries and the Greek language. The regulation of the aspirants, from which the first degree of the order is formed, was printed in the year 9 /1800/. It contains a nomenclature of the officers and the designation of their functions. This small print in square 16mo format contains 16 pages. Each Society of Sophisians is called a Pyramid. There are several in France. The place of meeting is named a Cavern.
