Hebrew: Haskamah
Already the fame of the lovely explanation of the Book of the Zohar has spread throughout the world, which is called by the name
Sanctuary of the King Hebrew: Mikdash Melech, established by the hands of a skilled wise man, an elder of distinguished countenance, the distinguished Rabbi
and divine Kabbalist, our teacher Rabbi Shalom Buzaglo, may his light shine, from the city of London. And our master,
the famous genius, may his memory be for a blessing, gave his consent, and the greats of his generation testified concerning the composition that it is good
and its words are good and correct, standing at the height of the world. Everyone who composes a thing of such
glory in this wisdom is accepted, good, and upright. Also, all the wise of heart who know the hidden wisdom in this time cherish
his work and search for his insights, for they found in it great benefit for all who enter the gates of the holiness of the Book of the
Zohar. And all who turn to it will be captivated and should acquire it. Now he has added more of his strength and hand in the Tree of Life Hebrew: Etz Chaim by the holy Rabbi,
Maharchu Rabbi Chaim Vital, to gather from within it pearls. Every desired thing comes to explain the passages of the Zohar.
He joined them together in a unified group? and arranged them according to the order of the Torah portions, each word in its proper place, along with
certain explanations from the books of the great and wise ones of old, and what he added from his own. To all of them he calls by the name
The Splendor of the King Hebrew: Hadrat Melech. Behold, it is for all the pious and the sharp-witted students of dialectic. My mind agreed to set it in print
to merit the public with it. And behold, I have merited to see and show my opinion in these labors which are
greater than me, a strong cord, for the aforementioned writing has already been established by the greats of the
world as said. Therefore, I am here to agree to the printing of the book.
And I have issued an equal decree upon every soul, that no stranger, God forbid, shall come near
to print this book from this day until the end of fifteen years
without the permission and will of the established author, may his light shine.
And for those who listen, it shall be pleasant, and upon them shall come
a blessing of good.
The word "למלכות" (To the Kingdom) corresponds to the Hebrew year 5526, which is 1766 CE.
