It is called the Ispaklaria ha-Meira Luminous Mirror. Our sages of blessed memory said that the Zeir Anpin Small Face is seen through this Ispaklaria ha-Meira. When the prophets receive their vision, the King the Small Face is drawn close to the holy speech, but the Mirror itself remains separate. For it is complete, and it has no light of its own, just like the moon in this world. The interpretation of the Mirror is the Nukva Female emanation herself. And behold, even within the Small Face itself, there are these two aspects. For when the prophets suckle receive spiritual flow from his face, from the aspect of the "six extremities" the six central emanations as is known, they are receiving from the Luminous Mirror. But when they suckle from his "back" the external or secondary aspects, the mirror remains non-luminous, for those are the Gevurot Severities. All the suckling of the Malchut Kingdom is from the "back," which are the Severities. Therefore, the prophets also suckle from the aforementioned "back." This is the meaning of why the Malchut Kingdom is called the Non-Luminous Mirror as well.
This is like the two aspects mentioned regarding the Mirror that does not shine. However, even though they receive from there, they are not called "prophets" unless they suckle from the Male himself, whether from his "face" or his "back." For prophets who suckle from the Female herself are called only "Masters of the Holy Spirit" possessors of Ruach ha-Kodesh, a lower level than prophecy, because prophecy only rests upon the Male, in the secret of the Five the five levels of the soul. This is the secret of the Zohar which says that those from the aspect of the Non-Luminous Mirror suckle from her and are called "prophets." As the Zohar says elsewhere, this refers only to the Holy Spirit. For the root of prophecy is only in the Z"A Small Face. But in his Yesod Foundation, and similarly in the Female, there is no prophecy, for she consists of the limbs of the "legs" the emanations of Victory, Splendor, and Foundation which are the "Pillars of the World" original: Amudei Shesh. They are the ones prepared for prophecy. However, despite this, even those who suckle from the Foundation of the Small Face are called "prophets" as well. But anyone who suckles from the Female is called a "Master of the Holy Spirit." Yet, there are some who are called "prophets" even while suckling from the Female, because she is the aspect of "Voice and Speech," as will be explained later. These are the words of our teacher, the Rabbi Rabbi Isaac Luria, of blessed memory. His words explain the discourse that was discussed in the earlier section, which was difficult to understand. It refers to the "Pillars of the World" for the Kingdom, in the aspect of the Holy Spirit, the mirror that does not shine, and the prophets receive from there.
What was said elsewhere, that Moses and Aaron are "the two breasts" above, etc. It is known that Moses and Aaron are the "vessels of the kidneys" and they are the "breasts" above. Corresponding to them below is Samuel, and Joshua the servant of Moses received from the light of Moses. From this, we see that Moses suckled also from the "Light" the emanation of Victory, and as it is written in the Zohar on Parashat Pinchas, he gave the "Light" to the Malchut Kingdom and drew down the "splendor." Therefore, the root of the prophets' prophecy was in the two primary segments of the "legs" of the Small Face from the "face" side, and no prophet ever prophesied from there at all, except for these two Moses and Aaron who prophesied from both. However, Samuel suckled from the "Leg" of the Small Face, but only from the first segment from the "face" side as well, which is the "splendor" the emanation of Hod from there.
Behold, despite this, it is known that the "Light" Victory is included within the "Splendor." Therefore, from the inclusion of the "Light" within the "Splendor," he also suckled. For this reason, Samuel is considered equal to Moses, because he suckles from the "face" of the upper segment of the "Leg," which is greater than the "Light," and the "Light" is included in it. But since Moses suckles also from the "Light" itself, and the "Light" is not included in the "Splendor," therefore the level of Moses is greater than Samuel. Ahijah the Shilonite suckles from the "back" of the two primary segments of the "legs" of the Small Face, and he was made equal to Moses in that he suckles from the "Leg" like Moses, but Moses is from the "face" and Ahijah the Shilonite is from the "back." Therefore, in this aspect, Moses is greater than Samuel. But in the sense that Samuel suckles from the "face" of the "Leg," he is greater than Ahijah who suckles from the "back." Behold, Elijah of blessed memory was the student of Ahijah the Shilonite. Therefore, as Samuel is to Moses, so is Elijah to Ahijah. For Ahijah suckles from the two primary segments of the "Leg" from the "back," and Elijah suckles from the first segment of the "Leg" from the "back" alone. And behold, these four were perfected from the two primary segments of the "legs" of the Small Face, in the aspects of "face" and "back" as mentioned. But the rest of the prophets were perfected from the rest of the aspects, which are the "kidneys" and the "lower segments" the parts of the emanations that extend further down, and from the Yesod Foundation of the Small Face. For the Foundation begins beneath the primary segments of the "legs." Thus, the prophets of the King are explained. And behold, corresponding to them are the prophets of the Matronita the Divine Lady/Kingdom who stand behind the Small Face, corresponding to his own "legs." This is what the Zohar meant when it said that the revelation of prophecy did not begin from the five the upper five emanations except from the "legs," which are the prophets. Even in the Female, the revelation of prophecy begins in the "legs."
These are the words of the Zohar. Her time corresponds to the "legs" of the Small Face. Or rather, she herself corresponds to the primary segments of the "legs" of the Small Face. And behold, we find that Aaron, who is like Moses, is also both "Leg" and Moses. Yet we find that Moses became the husband of the Matronita, and Aaron her bridesmaid, as written in Leviticus 10. The matter is that Aaron prophesied from the "face" of the "legs" of the Matronita. Just as Moses is the male aspect in the "face" of the two primary segments of the "legs," so is Aaron in the "face" of the "Victory and Splendor" of the Matronita, which stand directly opposite the two primary segments of the "legs" of the Male, as mentioned. Thus, do not wonder why Moses is in the Male and Aaron is in the Female. Most of the prophets are "Masters of the Holy Spirit" of the Matronita, and they have the rest of the aspects for their suckling. This is the secret of the "ten faces" that Moses had, and Aaron only one. In this regard, I heard from my teacher, of blessed memory, that regarding the Small Face, because he was from the tribe of Joseph, his soul was also... and it is known that Joseph is in the Yesod Foundation. Or from the "back" of the "Victory and Splendor" of the Female, for Aaron took the "face" and Joshua the "back." Therefore, "the face of Joshua is like the face of the moon," which is the Female. Regarding these two aspects, I am in doubt, for in the Zohar it was said of Moses. Another time I heard from my teacher that Joshua was perfected from the light of the Male. And to this, they said in the portion of Genesis that the servant of the King Joshua received from the light of Moses, meaning from his "Leg" and not from the Female. And he knew that he was a part of him.
That the Palaces original: Heichalot of the portion of Genesis are the "Living Creatures" of the World of Creation, and the "Throne" and the "Seraphim," which are not opened on weekdays, only on the Sabbath. Furthermore, it is written on page 22: the seven Palaces of the Small Face and those are the seven Palaces of the "Victory and Splendor" and the seven of the World of Creation which are only opened on the Sabbath, as explained in our discourse on the Secret of the Sabbath. These are his words. However, on page 37 he wrote: and these are the levels of prophecy. Know that these seven Palaces mentioned in the portion of Genesis were established as the seven days of the week, and from them the seven Palaces of Creation are opened in holiness, etc. These Palaces are the Palaces of the Female of the Small Face during her infancy. From there comes prophecy and the Holy Spirit as mentioned. But those that clothe them are the seven Palaces of the seven Palaces of the Female of the Small Face of the World of Creation as mentioned in the portion of Pekudei. Know that the Palaces of Pekudei are the seven Palaces of the Female of the Small Face of the World of Creation. From there, the prophets are clothed, for their prophecy was within the Palaces of Creation. Those Palaces of Creation are the Palaces of Law and not for nothing meaning they have specific functions there in the World of Formation, which is called the "Orchard of Metatron." From there is the suckling of the Holy Spirit for the sages. And this is what is said in the Tikunim the Rectifications of the Zohar, page 4, that the prophecies of Ezekiel were in the World of Formation. The interpretation is that the prophecy was drawn through the Palaces of Creation, and from there to the Palaces of Formation. From there it was revealed to Ezekiel before it was clothed in the World of Action, which is the dwelling place of the Kelipot husks/evil forces. However, from the emanations themselves, etc. All this is from his words. But the "Orchard" of the sages was in Formation itself. Know that the seven Palaces of Creation are called "Dwellings" original: Medorin, and the seven of Creation are called "Palaces." Therefore, the seven Palaces of the Husks of Formation are called... just as the Palaces of the Female of Formation are called "Dwellings," so the Palaces of the Husks of Formation are called "Dwellings." And for this reason, the letters M and S Mem and Samekh, the M belongs to the "Sabbath of the Manna," for she is the "King's Field" of Metatron, who is the Male. The totality of Formation, both holiness and husks, is called "Ten." These are the words of our teacher, the Rabbi. Thus, it is explicit that these Palaces on page 23 are for the "Victory and Splendor" of the Small Face during her infancy. These are his words. And I searched and found as written there on page 30, side a, they wrote in a language of doubt, saying "and this I heard another time," etc. In truth, these are two different discourses. It is possible to reconcile them by saying that the discourse regarding infancy means they were "births" emanated beings to become the "Spirit" for those levels in Creation. Their Palaces also descend and clothe themselves until the "Victory and Splendor" of Creation. For he wrote earlier in chapter 22, page 279, as follows: It is found that Creation has thirteen levels. It is known that it has seven upper lights... and behold, between them all there are thirteen. And behold, the seventh Palace is the one that includes four Palaces. They are as mentioned regarding Creation. The totality of the three is clothed in two lights. And behold, they are drawn from the upper levels of the state of infancy. And since it is from the aspect of the "Legs"...
