Solomon [was in] danger of illness. There are 20 letters [involved]... and here in the secret of the Female Nukva, the letter Kof is the full spelling of Y-V referencing the phonetic expansion of the letter which is nine words... and these are three "Thousands." Therefore, all of this [relates to] the point of Knowledge Da'at and the point of the Foundation Yesod. All the other lower points indicate the essence, while these indicate the "addition" which is secondary to the essence. But in Knowledge and Foundation, the lower points indicate the addition. The reason is that no point has as many numerous "Severities" Gevurot as these twenty. Their secret is ancient... they are joined together in these six. This is the path... as it is written about the proverbs that they are life and health. Thus far from the ARI. Truly, the danger in the Foundation is stronger than that in Knowledge, for the Foundation is the life-force of the "External Ones" impure forces, and therefore strong judgments are clothed in it... whereas above in Knowledge, they are in the aspect of the "Roots." This is the secret of the verse "the judgments of the Lord are true, they are righteous altogether" Psalms 19:10. These two points of Knowledge and Foundation are the "Judgments" and "Sentences." Their secret in the letters... is understood from his words that the calculation of a "Thousand" is the 20 Severities of Majesty... a thousand years of wandering gilgul.
And here, see and understand what is appropriate regarding what Rabbi Yose said... "all the day she is faint" Lamentations 1:13... it is not performed on the cup of the King's exile, but on the poor person in whose eyes he arranges... and so he sustained his words... every day she is faint. And if the Holy One, blessed be He, does not invite... yet another day, etc. See there. At the end of days, when the Assembly of Israel was [in exile], the Holy One, blessed be He, will remove the vengeance of Israel when they ascend to the Sephirah of the Crown Keter at the end of the Sabbath... as written in the portion Vayera... and the exile will remain until the year five thousand, etc. Do not be surprised at what is written in Vayakhel page 200, that the thousand is destined to be... for there are 500 on the right side. And even though the "Kof" numerical value 100 is in the beginning of its "Thousand"... it is the right side of the "Thousand." For there is good and evil there. Thus far. Note that the judgments were on the secret of the "Strong Severities." This is the secret of this exile, which was these thousand [years] given into the "Evil" which is the "Evil of the Mixed Multitude" Erev Rav, which is entirely strong judgments. When these thousand years are completed—which are the Severities of Majesty—the secret of the Kingdom Malkhut of the "Ancient One" Atik will rest upon him and be revealed, and he will be in the Kingdom of the "Small Face" Zeir Anpin, and the Messiah will come.
The order of the "Repairs of the Faces" Tikun ha-Partzufim. There are three "Heads" Reishin in the [highest] Face: the first is called the "Head that is not known" Reisha d'lo Etyada, the second is called "Nothing" Ayin, and the third is called "Hidden Wisdom" Chokhmah Stima'ah. All three are within the "Long Face" Arich Anpin, which is also called the "Ancient One" Atik... up to the [attribute of] King, called "Ancient of Days" Atik Yomin. There is the Soul and the internal part... and the expansion into the "Skull" Gulgaltah with ten repairs... the White Head, the Dew of Light, the higher Will, and the "Open Eye." The "Nose of the Face" Chotama de-Parduksah, etc., with the thirteen repairs of the beard Dikna. All this was arranged. These thirteen repairs were spread out corresponding to the place where the "Points" of the world of chaos were broken. After the "Long Face" was completed, the two Faces of "Father and Mother" Abba ve-Imma were made. This is the secret of "Wisdom and Understanding emerge as one"... unlike the "Male and Female" Zun Zeir Anpin and Nukva who emerge back-to-back, Father and Mother emerge together, one from the side of the head and the other from the side of the arm. Father and Mother always emerge at the same time and are never separated. For the Male and Female, their union is not constant... as written in Leviticus.
We shall explain what is written in the Zohar, section Acharei Mot 65b, "An image for them is Mother," and this refers to her being separated from them. The explanation is that the
the boy's mind is not complete until he is seven years and one day old; only then is his "Knowledge" Da'at sufficient to be complete in the secret of the "Soul," and he can know the secret of his wife. Therefore, after the "Nursing" Yenikah of the Small Face Zeir Anpin, there is a "Third Pregnancy" Ibbur Gimmel after the nursing to provide him with "Intellects" Mohin higher consciousness. Even though the "vessels" of the Face of the Small Face were completed during the days of his nursing, do not be surprised that there is a third pregnancy after nursing. For it is all a refinement. Just as when the souls of the lower beings ascend every night [during sleep] as a "deposit" in the hand of the Divine, and she becomes pregnant from them and they are sanctified there in the secret of the "new blood," so too the "Higher Mother" Imma Ila'ah the Sephirah of Understanding becomes pregnant through the ascent of the souls of the Male and Female, and they are renewed there in the secret of the "New Intellects" for her children. And behold, when the Male and Female ascend to the Mother, the "Arousal from Below" Mayin Nukvin Feminine Waters moves the Mother to unite with the Father. Through this union, they beget and give birth to the "Intellects" Mohin for the Male and Female. Thus far are the words of our teacher, Rabbi Shalom Sharabi.
On page 27, he wrote regarding the secret of the "Two Crowns" Trei Atarin... the matter is that in order to form the image of the Father and Mother, there are two "Luck-influences" Mazzalot. The "Upper Luck" includes the first eight repairs of the beard, and the "Lower Luck" is the thirteenth repair. Behold, the Father nurses from the Upper Luck and the Mother from the Lower Luck. When the Upper Luck [unites] with the Lower Luck... from this union emerge the "Five Kindnesses" Chasadim from the Upper Luck and the "Five Severities" Gevurot from the Lower Luck. The Upper Luck gives the Kindnesses to the Father, and the Lower Luck gives the Severities to the Mother. After the Father and Mother receive these Kindnesses and Severities from these two Luck-influences, they unite together and give birth to the Mother. These are included in the Mother's womb—the Kindnesses and the Severities that she received. For the Father, through his Wisdom, begets the "drop" of the Male Intellects, and the Mother also gives the "drop" called the "Feminine." All these are conceived in the Mother's womb. From these two drops, the five Kindnesses and five Severities are formed... and all are conceived in the Mother's womb. This is why "an image for them is Mother" and they are conceived from them. This means after the "Nursing," the Mother becomes pregnant with these Intellects for the Male and Female. These six are the "Two Crowns" mentioned in the secret of the "diadems" for the Small Face. When the Mother gives birth to these Intellects and they emerge from her, they become thirty Intellects... and this is the secret of the "Child." For the letters of the word "Man" Adam in the lower world are like the upper... and the secret of these Intellects is that every Luck-influence consists of ten, which makes thirty. Afterward, the Higher Mother clothes and includes these thirty Intellects within her own attributes of Endurance, Majesty, and Foundation. The Father [clothes his] in the "Thousand," and the Mother in the secret of the "Thirty"... and she clothes and humbles herself.
She enters within the Small Face with these Intellects. For the Small Face cannot receive these Intellects of "Maturity" Gadlut in their revealed light, but only after they are clothed within the attributes of the Mother. The "Foundation" of the Mother enters, and within it are the Intellects of the "Crown." Similarly for the Mother's "Majesty" containing the Intellect of "Understanding" within the "Understanding" of the Small Face. Thus, before they were clothed, there were four, which is the number forty... but after they are clothed, they appear as ten. Thus the "Thirty" is completed. For these Intellects are not completed in the "Head" of the Small Face until they spread throughout his entire body, through the attributes of Loving-kindness, Severity, Beauty, Endurance, Majesty, and Foundation. Originally, he only had the lower six attributes, but through these Intellects, he grows. Also, the "Thirty" is completed in another way: for now the "Beard" of the Small Face is made of nine repairs, as is known. The three Intellects... are the nine aspects... and from this aspect, the nine repairs of the beard of the Small Face are born. In his Foundation, the "Two Crowns" of the Father and Mother—which are the Kindnesses and Severities within the Foundation—become "Knowledge" Da'at for the Small Face. The intention is that the Father's Foundation clothes the side of Loving-kindness which is on the right, and the Mother's Foundation clothes the side of Severity which is on the left.
