(Sign 27) Regarding the portion of Vayakhel: "He gathered four precious garments," etc. As written in the Etz Chaim, page 103:
The aspect of the three internal components is called the "interiority of the vessels." These are also divided into three aspects: the internal, the external, and the middle. Generally, these are the six—three internal and three surrounding—and within them are the "brains" original: מוחין, spiritual intellects. There are intellects of conception, nursing, and maturity. This internal body is what is called the aspect of "vessels" Kelim. It is formed from the illumination of the fifty gates of life within the Yesod Foundation of Malchut Kingship. This is called the "internal seal," and also "a seal within a seal." This is a seal in the Foundation of the Father Abba and a seal in the Kingship of the Mother Imma. From these seals are made the "two beards" referring to the configurations of the divine face. As mentioned in the Zohar on Parashat Tazria, the body of the donkey corresponds to the external forces, and in Vayakhel the four precious garments are discussed. The large one comes from the Foundation and the small one from Kingship. There is also an aspect of "vessels for everyone" when the male drop is clothed in the seal of his Foundation. This is the secret of the "light hidden for the righteous" which is placed in the Foundation of the feminine. This light provides salvation for all, hidden within her Foundation. There is also within it a "third" a specific measurement of light which belongs to the aspect of the vessels. These are the seals of the name spelled with the letter Yod, numerically equal to "vessel." As explained in the teachings on the "Bride," there are vessels from the aspect of the secret and the Foundation of the Mother. Thus, there is one vessel from the aspect of the "impression" Reshima in the Foundation of the feminine, comprised of three aspects as mentioned. There is a corresponding aspect in the male. All these aspects exist in the states of conception, nursing, and maturity of the Kingships. Corresponding to them is the interiority, and corresponding to those aspects are three internal dimensions, with corresponding surrounding dimensions. These are Keter Crown, Chokhmah Wisdom, and Binah Understanding, and the number, etc.
(Sign 28) Vayakhel, end of page 209: "To that one they opened," etc. As written in Etz Chaim, page 105:
Understand why this is called Ye-S-S the Good Inclination and this is called Ye-S-L the Evil Inclination. The matter is that the entire "Glowing Shell" Klipat Nogah, from the level of Knowledge Da'at and downward, creates death and accusations against the soul in order to close off the soul and take from it. This is the secret of "he creates death by the action he saw." This refers to the three lower shells. As for the holy souls that have already been clarified, garments of "garments of light" original: כסות אור were made for them. However, those souls that were not yet fully clarified immediately became a body and a garment from "garments of skin" original: כסות עור from the union of the male and female of the "Glowing Shell." As mentioned at the end of Parashat Vayakhel, regarding the verse "to pass through the valley of weeping," this refers to the external building. This body is called Ye-S-L, of which it is said "to pass through the valley of weeping." It turns out that the garment made for the soul from all the severities in the Glowing Shell is the Ye-S-L, for they have not yet been refined. They are still full of dross and husks. This is the aspect of the handmaid. But the Ye-S-S is a pure garment, a garment of kindnesses. As soon as it is chosen from the Glowing Shell, it is called Ye-S-S, because they have already been separated from the evil and the dross. Then they are the kindnesses. This is like the kindnesses that sweeten the judgments, as is known, because the male is kindness and the judgments are feminine. For the Ye-S-S, which is the secret of the male, sweetens the Ye-S-L and has the power to return it to the side of the King, as mentioned in Parashat Terumah. These are the "two kings" or "two angels" that accompany a person. Even though the male is Ye-S-L, he was made into a handmaid, and when the evil is removed from him, he becomes a "good angel." Therefore, this secret is well-hinted at in the Zohar, page 263, on the verse "With all your heart" — with both your inclinations, this one is from the right and this one is from the left. Thus it is explained how the Ye-S-L can become entirely good like the Ye-S-S itself. Also understand through this the matter of Cain and Abel; Cain is Ye-S-L, as written in the Tikunim, page 115, for Cain is the severities of the handmaid. The filth of the serpent was strengthened in Cain because he is the severities. This is not the case with Abel, who is the kindnesses. This is also Jacob and Esau. All the people who come from Esau were from those severities, which is why Esau is "Edom" Red/Judgment. Also understand the matter of the exile, which is the "thousand of the right," as mentioned in the "Commandments," page 217. The matter is that the five kindnesses, each comprised of a hundred, equal 500, which is the "right shoulder." The other 500 are the "left shoulder," totaling 1,000. When it is in the world of Action, it is called the "thousand of the right," because there the tip of the Yod is found. When the proportion is established, it is sweet. Until then, the exile is the presence of these thousand sparks within the evil where they are. This is the secret of "a thousand years in Your eyes." When these thousand years pass, the Messiah will come.
Hadrat Melech
We have merited to see its foundations. This is the secret in the portion of Mishpatim: "He is the Lord," which refers to the secret of the Glowing Shell. From the world of Creation, the 280 permutations of the name Elohim begin until the world of Action, as we have explained. The external vessels that are there are the Name of the five letters, and from there begin the "other gods." This is the secret of the 280 sparks of the "refiners" Bininn that remained to be clarified in the Glowing Shell. They are called the "heads of the refiners" as mentioned regarding the prophet Joshua. The Glowing Shell that corresponds to the "Living Creatures" is the "Holy Elohim," the heads of the refiners. From the world of Creation and downward, it is "good and evil" Tov va-Ra. This is the secret of the "Red Heifer." This is very hidden, for Moses and Solomon could not fully grasp its secret. See the Tikunim, page 42, regarding "light, darkness, evil, and good." The portion of the "Heifer" is the feminine of the Glowing Shell, from the aspect of the 280 sparks and the five pure bloods and five impure bloods, which numerically equals "Heifer" Parah (285). See the "Commandments," page 230, where this is hinted at. These are the five and five of the Glowing Shell. She is the aspect of the heifer whose ashes are gathered and clarified, becoming the "ashes of the burnt sin offering." Of this, it is said that "all who are involved with it become impure," but the "water of the ashes" purifies. Therefore, she was made from the strength of thought. Her place is outside the sanctuary, as mentioned. The entire intent of Moses and Solomon was to bring the male of the "Mixed Multitude" Erev Rav to rectification. Solomon brought many foreign wives to rectify them, but they could not stand over them to rectify them until the Messiah comes soon. Then this secret will be revealed, to clarify the good within it, and its evil will be pushed aside. As written in the Tikkunei Zohar, the dross of the judgments will be transformed. "The dross is for you," meaning the waste of the good, which is the "Glowing Shell" Nogah, contains both dross and waste. From there, the other nations and "garments of skin" were derived, as mentioned in the Zohar, page 108. Behold, the "flaming fire" is the third shell that joins with the fourth, which is Nogah. Then Nogah becomes evil. But when it is separated from the fire, Nogah joins with the "Electrum" Chashmal and becomes good, as mentioned in the Zohar, page 9. The wise sorcerers bring up their magic from there, because the good within it provides flow to the external ones, which is the evil within it. Therefore, the sorcerers hold onto it to know magic, as mentioned in the fifth Tikun. This is the "Explicit Name" with which Adam sinned, and "His kingdom rules over all." When they swear to bind the good with the evil so it flows into it, it is done with great desire. Sometimes it is reversed, and they swear by the shells. See Tikunim, page 37.
(Sign 26) Mishpatim, page 95b: "Man rules over man to his detriment." As written in Etz Chaim, page 108:
Through the sin of Adam, the higher Soul Neshamah and Spirit Ruach of the world of Emanation Atzilut departed from him, leaving him only with the lowest soul Nefesh. Even though they took the coverings of the soul from the totality of Emanation, the external forces took them. The Holy One made for him a garment from the "Electrum" Chashmal of the world of Action. Not from its totality, but from the "world of Action" of the Electrum that they were clothed in. Afterward, He made him another garment from the "Glowing Shell" Klipat Nogah, and these are the "garments of skin." This Glowing Shell is the "garment of the Name Havayah" because it is a shell that surrounds the holiness and is attached to it. The "stormy wind" shell is more internal. Therefore, from the bottom up, the "stormy wind" starts first, but from the top down, Nogah is higher and closer to holiness. It is the "garment of the Name Havayah." When it descends into "good and evil," those are his garments, which are the Electrum that covers the shell by means of the Glowing Shell. There he was clothed in the Glowing Shell, which is "good and evil," the garment of the Name. It turns out that after Adam sinned, all his garments were taken, which include all the garments of the children of Israel in the world. They were captured within the Glowing Shell. Because they were chosen, they returned to being a mixture of good and evil. This is why the Glowing Shell "rules over man to his detriment." All the garments and their mixture with the evil of the shell must be clarified a second time through the commandments and the Torah. This is the entire work that Israel does until the coming of the Messiah.
