I have praised this student of the Sages who appeared before us. The hands of the entire congregation support him in raising his voice with understanding regarding the holy matters that are hidden and stored away. He has seen fit to bestow and share from the treasures of the Torah to increase the study and the spirit of knowledge. He is the distinguished Rabbi, the famous teacher Nehemiah Hayyun. He has labored to bring these words to light and to establish the text correctly?. Since the time is valuable and the work is holy, he has put his mouth to the task of arranging these Tikkunim which are like a healing to the soul?. I have therefore seen fit to grant this approval so that no person shall infringe upon his rights or print a similar edition for a period of time. May the Lord strengthen his hands? to finish this holy work and to spread the wellsprings of wisdom outward. May we be worthy to see the coming of the Redeemer soon in our days.
A man of fear and honor has appeared before us, one who is precious to the holy. He has brought with him a portion of wisdom and soul.
