(5) Here I must note that the Chamberlains of Worms only took the family name "von Dalberg" in 1330. Gerhard, a knight who died in 1353, married Greta von Dalberg, who was the last of her line. Thereupon the castle and lordship fell to the Chamberlains of Worms, who subsequently took the surname from it.
