Facing marbled endpapers, known as a pastedown and flyleaf, featuring a comb marbled pattern, also called peacock or feathered pattern, in variegated shades of blue, red, yellow, and grey. The outer edges of the boards show a gold-tooled decorative roll border.
A rectangular printed bookplate is pasted onto the center-left of the left-hand page. It features a central circular emblem. Inside an oval frame, a white pelican in its piety is depicted feeding its young with blood from its own breast, set against a blue background. Above the pelican, rays of golden light descend from a celestial source. Below the pelican's nest is a small shield or coat of arms containing three red roses on a white field. The oval is surrounded by the circular inscription Hermetic Philosophy original: "PHILOSOPHIA • HERMETICA •".
There is a very faint, illegible circular institutional stamp in the bottom left corner of the left page.
