The second book of wonders

“Then now I tell you one and all,
When you can name the human race
Without the WOMAN appearing,
Then say you do not want her here.
If you can be born without her,
I would not need to visit in her form
To bring a spiritual race to mankind;
Because the WOMAN was my plan
To have mankind be born again.
Now look at my Gospel:
I said you must be born again.
Look deeply, you simple sons of men,
And tell me how that man was born?
You say it might be known from Adam;
He appeared without the WOMAN.
He was the dust that perished there,
And so the dust still continues,
And decay putrefaction is still in man.
But I was born of the WOMAN—
A deep mystery no man discerns—
I did not come to decay.
Then now, like ME, be born again,
And let all appear from the WOMAN;
And then I will make you sons and heirs.
For you shall now be heirs of GOD,
And, as I said, joint heirs with ME;
And now be born of the SPIRIT.
You know it is written, in her form,
That GOD would surely send his Son
When the full time had surely come;
So that as all men died in Adam,
Even so in ME it is applied
That I would make all alive.
Appear, you vain men, and answer ME:
How do you so deny my Bible?
I said then that the Holy Spirit
My Father would send in my name,
And bring everything to your remembrance;
And everything is brought together here,
Which man cannot explain through learning.”
