The official circular seal of the Egypt Exploration Fund. The central motif features an Egyptian pylon or gateway. Inside the pylon's recess is a seated figure, likely the infant Horus (Harpocrates) on a lotus blossom, flanked by two crowned uraei (cobras). The pylon is topped with a winged solar disk containing a scarab beetle. The entire scene is enclosed in a circular border containing the organization's name.
