The circular seal of "THE EGYPT EXPLORATION FUND" is displayed. The central design features a stylized ancient Egyptian temple pylon. At the top of the pylon is a winged solar disc. The central panel of the pylon contains a relief depicting a seated figure, Harpocrates, flanked by two rearing uraei, or cobras, wearing sun discs. The pylon is flanked by lotus flowers on long stems. At the very bottom, within the circular frame, is another winged solar disc. The name of the organization is inscribed in the outer border of the circle.
