Perhaps there was some deletion; e.g., the scribe might have begun to write "to one another" after "therefore," which is the order of K Codex Koridethi. There is no authority for the insertion of "certain" before "of the."

10. The reading after "you will see" is very uncertain; there was perhaps a correction.
11. The lacuna would not admit of "I go" (D, T-R). "They said therefore" is omitted in D*.
12. "this"] so ℵD; for "this that he says" (ℵABD²Ib, W-H, T-R) there is clearly no room. That "the" was omitted before "little while" (so B, W-H) is probable but hardly certain.
13. Either "what he speaks" or "that which he says" (D*) is required in the lacuna; om. B.
"knew": so ℵBD, W-H; "knew therefore" A, T-R; "knew but" and "and knew" being other variants.

14. D’s reading "to ask him concerning this" is obviously excluded. A omits "to them."
20. "you": so ℵBD, W-H: "you but" A, T-R. The 'y' of "you will be grieved" has been converted from an 'i', i.e., "will be grieved" was first written. The correction is perhaps due to the original scribe. Cf. l. 22.
21. Whether "but" or "but" abbreviated form was written cannot be ascertained.
22. The corrector has substituted 'y' for 'i' without cancelling the original spelling; for which cf. l. 20.
