॥ Now, the seventh process, Niyama Regulation ॥ After the nirodha process, the mercury is regulated to remove its inherent restlessness. This is done using bhr̥ṅgarāja false daisy, kūkoṭī, and other herbs in an apparatus with fire. [10]
॥ Now, the eighth process, Dīpana Stimulation ॥ Using bhr̥ṅgarāja, taṅkaṇa borax, marica black pepper, and salts, the mercury is stimulated. [13] This process brings the mercury to full potency. [1] It should be done for three, seven, or twenty-one days.
॥ After the mercury is thus stimulated and purified, it shines like a thousand suns. [12] When the rasarāja King of Metals reaches this state, no further work is needed. [13] The mercury is then ready for the final transmutations.
