Having boiled the arka copper/sun, place the essence in the middle, firmly puted sealed and heated in the earth, and color the vanga tin with mud; heat it in the puṭa furnace. [11]

The copper-born [substance], combined with the seed-essence and rubbed;
after puting, the sun-gold arka-hema becomes like the moon. [14]

The silver-color procedure is stated:
To the vanga, add mākṣika and white śilā;
then perform the silvering with the tenth part. [15]

Regarding the special doṣa defect/quality:
Gold and copper-mākṣika in equal parts, heated with karaja oil;
it should be heated ten times. [17]

The copper killed by the mercury essence, and the gold/silver essence;

The powder of rājāvarta lapis lazuli, pure, and cīnāśra, gandhaka, rasaka;
kāśīsa, śilā, and darada cinnabar. [1]
Tīkā: Rājāvarta is white, mākṣika is yellow, gandhaka is gold-mākṣika... [2]
Another says:
Puted with the śrīmāra-rasa mercury of the auspicious-killer, kill the nāga until it is niruttha incinerated/incapable of weight-loss;
then, in its middle, place the vanga and the five-salts. [3]
