Through the worship of the accomplished masters, what was said formerly by Shambhu Shiva in the Rasaratnākara... that mercury, for the sake of contradiction...
The tradition exists, as stated by Nagarjuna, and what was stated by the one who attained the seven-hundred-fold mastery of mercury, in the Kapālika text. It is gathered in many mercury treatises and in the Agamas. What was said by Vagbhata in his excellent work, the Vaidyasāra, and by many other accomplished masters, I have looked for with effort. Wherever there is a method, one should mutter it while joined with the goal. Relinquishing all that, and gathering only what has been experienced by myself. Nowhere in the scriptures is there the action and the count of the process. A floral ornament The essence of the nectar of various mercuries A floral ornament. Therefore, there is success here; there is no tradition [elsewhere]. Because of that, it is being revealed now by me for the benefit of all people. Whatever is not here does not exist anywhere else. This Rasaratnākara was composed by Nityanatha. Therefore, it is heard.
No initiation, no sprinkling, no jewel, Naga lead, Vanga tin, impurities, fire, instability, and poison, mountains, unbearable fire, and great defects are naturally present in it. Naturally, it has the odor of the snake, the darkness of the Naga, the instability of Vanga, the impurity of dust, and the power of Rahu the eclipse demon. Instability, death, poison, mountains, bursting, unbearable fire, and delusion arise. When it is free of defects, it is like this: it removes old age and death. It is directly nectar.
