With dhuttūra Datura, Tulsi, kāsā, garlic, devadālikā, Shigru drumstick root, nightshade, two types of śikhinī flame-colored/leadwort, sandalwood, eaglewood, musk, tiger [parts], and kuṭikī picrorhiza, grind [them] with citron juice and add castor oil. By this, one should process the sulfur placed in an iron vessel three times until it becomes devoid of smell yellow highlight yellow highlight. This is the sulfur oil; it should be used in excellent formulations. Now, smear a cloth seven times with the milk of the arka Calotropis and snuhī spurge plants. Grind it with sulfur and butter, and smear it on the cloth. Having made a wick of that, light it and place it over a vessel; the oil falls into the vessel. Use it in formulations. Purified sulfur destroys diseases, leprosy, death, and old age; it induces vitality, is a destroyer of deep-seated tumors, and increases potency. section break Now, the purification of diamond (vajra) is described. section break When yellow? ja? is taken, it causes leprosy, tumors, and pain; [it causes] anemia, heat, and heaviness. Therefore, one must ensure it is purified. White, red, yellow, and black smudge are the [four] classes. In alchemy, the Brahmin [white diamond] is the giver of auspicious success. The Kshatriya [red] is a remover of impurities and diseases, and a curer of skin and aging-related illnesses, and is a generator of wealth.
