From the measure, three pala of essence should fall. Cinnabar hingula, realgar shila, yellow orpiment kankshi, green vitriol kasisa, and orpiment talaka: (20)
the essence of all these is extracted in a pit kupe. Having sweated realgar and orpiment as before, (21)
one should grind them with oil and snail-shell alkali shambuka-kshara in equal parts. Having taken a firm vessel, place the orpiment there. (22)
Having placed a perforated cover malluka, seal the joint firmly with mud. As the smoke exits from the small hole, one should let it pass. (23)
Having placed it on the stove chullyam with effort, one should then light a fire. When the cover becomes smokeless, one should place a seal on top. (24)
A strong fire hatha-vahni should be performed for four yama 12 hours. Having taken it down when naturally cooled, wash the essence with effort. (25)
Having taken the essence that has adhered there, grind it in a mortar. Combined with borax alkali tankana-kshara, place it in a glass flask kaca-kupe. (26)
One should make a circular apparatus yantra of one cubit in size, which is auspicious. Having placed it on the stove, seal the joint. (27)
